Situation:

Rashfield lies approximately 7 miles to the north of Dunoon just within the boundary of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Lamont Lodges back onto the Argyll Forest Park and just up the road are both Benmore Botanic Gardens and the beautiful Loch Eck.



Dunoon itself is a small town set in the beautiful Cowal Peninsula of Argyll and yet within just over an hours commuting distance to the centre of Glasgow. Argyll Ferries run an hourly ferry service to Gourock connecting with trains to Glasgow Central. Western Ferries run a more frequent service from nearby Hunters Quay to McInroys Point. There is also a McGills bus service from Dunoon to Buchanan Street bus station, Glasgow. Dunoon is approximately one hour from Glasgow Airport. The town offers a secondary school, a modern leisure centre, an eighteen hole golf course, two supermarkets, a variety of individual shops, restaurants and a cinema.
