The property has been refurbished to a high standard, with thought and care given to fittings and finish. The accommodation is arranged over two floors and comprises, sitting/dining room with an inglenook fireplace, new kitchen with oak work tops and integrated appliances, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside there is a secluded and landscaped rear garden with stone outhouse. Offered with no onward chain. LOCATION Islip is at highly regarded village within easy reach of Oxford, retaining a wealth of character properties and the parish church, which is of 13th Century origin. There is an excellent community shop, plus a station with train services to Oxford and on to London (Paddington) plus two public houses. The village, which is designated as a Conservation Area, is renowned as being the birthplace of Edward the Confessor, whilst Islip Bridge was also the site of a Civil War skirmish. As well as being convenient for Summertown (5 miles) and Oxford city centre (6.75 miles) the village is also convenient for Woodstock (about 7.5 miles) and access to the M40. Junction 9 is some 4.5 miles to the north whilst Junction 8a is some10 miles to the south east. DIRECTIONS Leave Oxford, accessing the A44 dual carriageway towards Evesham and Woodstock. At the subsequent roundabout/interchange, take the third exit on to the A34 in a northerly direction towards the M40 and Banbury, continuing for about 3.5 miles before taking the first exit left onto the B4027 signposted for Islip and Bletchingdon. At the subsequent t-junction turn left, continuing into the centre of Islip. Turn left into Middle Street. The property will be found a short way along on the right hand side.
