" Why we like it:
A rarely available semi-detached house on this popular Wallingford development. The property is clean, modern, light and fresh and has been updated by the current owner with neutral dn++cor, a refitted kitchen and replacement double glazed UPVC windows and doors throughout.

What it offers:
An entrance hall with the staircase off, leading to the first floor. The Sitting Room is situated off the hall and has a large double glazed window to the front and has access to a useful, large under stairs storage cupboard. The Kitchen/Breakfast Room looks out onto the rear garden. The kitchen has been replaced and refitted with modern wall and base units. There is a door to the rear garden. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, The main bedroom overlooks the rear garden with a wall to wall wardrobe alcove. The second bedroom has two windows to the front. The loft has been partially boarded and reinsulated. Outside, to the front there is a garden laid to lawn, in front of which there is allocated parking for two vehicles. The rear garden has a patio and lawn with a wall at the rear, with handy gated side access to the garden.

Location:
Originally a walled Saxon town on the Thames the remains of Wallingford`s town walls can still be seen today. The remains of the Castle can also be seen from the Castle Gardens. Wallingford is a thriving market town. The centre is a major conservation area with fine examples of churches and architecture dating back to the 14th century. The landscape from the River Thames is officially designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The streets with their variety of small shops, pubs and restaurants, the antique shops in the Lamb Arcade, and the parks, commons and gardens make it a very pleasant town. There is a Waitrose Supermarket and firm talk of a Morrisons supermarket coming in the future. The Country Market is held every Friday in the Regal Centre and the farmers Market is held every third Tuesday in the Market Place. The Corn Exchange is the home of Wallingford`s cinema and theatre, producing a wide variety of productions throughout the year. Three primary schools and a highly regarded High School which is also a sports academy. Wallingford is within easy reach of both the M40 and the M4 and only 15 miles from Oxford. The town has two nursery`s a primary and secondary level schooling, and a full range of leisure facilities and sports groups.
