" Overview
CHAIN-FREE. House Network are pleased to offer this deceptively spacious, five bedroom detached bungalow situated in a quiet residential road (with a 20mph speed limit).

The property is very spacious inside - total accommodation amounts to almost 1900 sq.feet - which is not immediately apparent from the outside and it needs to be viewed to appreciate its size, its garden and its quiet location.

The original property has been enhanced by two large, architect-designed extensions, both carried out by the current owners who have enjoyed living here for over 30 years. It now benefits from five good sized bedrooms, including an impressive master suite with en-suite shower room and a range of high-quality fitted furniture. It has a fitted kitchen, separate utility room, dining room which is open plan to the family sitting room, a large lounge, large family bathroom, separate WC and an attached garage, served by a long driveway.

It has gas central heating, mains water and sewerage and dual time zone electricity. Double glazing throughout.

The majority of internal doors are of solid wood construction giving good sound insulation between rooms, which is further enhanced by ground floor internal walls being of solid block construction.

The property is situated on one of the largest plots on Myrtle Road. The property still has good size gardens despite the extensions; both front and rear gardens are stocked with mature shrubs and trees and the front garden is landscaped. The rear garden is private and has a view of established trees into the distance. The driveway can accommodate at least four cars.

Myrtle Road is quiet, being at the back of the village and with a 20mph limit, but still with easy access to all facilities, frequent bus services and both the B1172 and the A11; it is approximately 7 miles into the City of Norwich and approximately 4 miles into the market town of Wymondham, both of which have main line Rail Stations. The A11 then gives access to Stansted Airport, Cambridge and, of course, London.

Hethersett has an excellent range of facilities - Nursery, First, Middle and High Schools, a privately-run nursery, Library, GP Surgery, Dentist, Boots chemist, plus a range of other shops and local businesses. It is also near to other good schools and colleges in Norwich and Wymondham.

The village also benefits from street lighting, something many Norfolk villages do not have.

Hethersett is excellently placed for the University of East Anglia, the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and the Norwich Science & Research Park, whilst remaining a rural village.
