The house is very warm and has a super efficient heating and insulation system. Being a very recent build the property settlement is virtually zero. It is an easy maintenance property and garden. We have found Mears Ashby to be an extremely friendly village, there are lots of events, associations and clubs in the village. From Safari suppers, to girlie lunches, preservation society, interesting walks, very active and young Parish Council, annual visits and general attitude to making Mears Ashby a good and happy place to live. We have been fortunate to meet some very nice people who have become good friends.

The popular Conservation village of Mears Ashby lies in open countryside between Wellingborough and Northampton. It has a Church, a public house and a very highly sought after primary school. The towns of Wellingborough, Kettering, Milton Keynes and Northampton are all within easy reach. There is a main line station at both Wellingborough and Northampton with frequent trains into London.
