" 8 Church Street is a large detached bungalow, located in a private driveway within the sought after village of Helmdon. This large bungalow stands in a plot of .35 of an acre and offers scope for some modernisation and extension, subject to Planning Permission. NO ONWARD CHAIN.

LIVING ACCOMMODATION The front door leads into the large hallway which has doors off to the inner hall, an airing cupboard, meter cupboard, the lounge, kitchen and cloakroom and has access to the loft which has a ladder and is part boarded. The lounge is a very good size and has a large window overlooking the garden to the front, a side window and a local stone open fireplace with an oak mantel and tiled hearth with bespoke fitted book shelves to one side. The dining room is open plan to the lounge and has French doors to the rear garden and a door to the kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with oak fronted cupboards with work surfaces and a sink unit under a window overlooking the garden and there are spaces for an upright fridge/freezer and a cooker. The utility room has a door to the garden, a further sink unit with cupboards under, the oil fired boiler and spaces for a washing machine and another appliance. BEDROOMS AND BATHROOM The inner hall has doors off to the four bedrooms and bathroom. Bedroom 1 is a large double room with two sets of fitted cupboards and a window overlooking the garden. Bedroom 2 is a large double room with a built-in wardrobe and a window overlooking the garden. Bedroom 3 is a good double room with a window to the front and bedroom 4 is a good size room with a front window. The bathroom has been converted into a shower room and has a large shower enclosure, low level WC and wash basin, walls are tiled to water sensitive areas and there is a window to the side. GARDENS The bungalow stands in a large plot of .35 of an acre with gardens to the front, rear and both sides. The front garden has a large lawn with planted borders and various fruit trees. The side and rear garden is mainly lawned with deep and well planted borders and a patio area leading from the back of the property.
