Located on the outskirts of the village, the property dates back to the late 17th Century with Victorian extension. The former thatched roof was replaced with slate when the roof was raised at around the same period of the additions.

Situation
Hinton-in-the-Hedges lives up to its name, as it is in an unspoilt and hidden location yet close to the facilities of the market town of Brackley. Within the village there is a local pub and a parish church. More comprehensive shopping and recreational facilities can be found in Banbury which also has a twice weekly market, the Castle Quay Shopping Centre and Spiceball Leisure Centre.
