Location

Belford is an historic coaching village located to provide access to the A1 trunk road. To the east lies the Northumberland heritage coastline with its sandy beaches and places of interest such as Bamburgh, Seahouses, Holy Island and Berwick Upon Tweed. Whilst to the north and west lies the border country side and Cheviot Hills. Entering Belford from the south you will notice two landmark buildings, Belford Hall which sits in parkland and boasts and 9 hole golf course and also the parish church of St Mary. The village has a range of amenities including a supermarket, specialist shops, chemist, health centre, public houses/restaurants, a cafe and a hotel. The village is served by public transport with the nearest main line railway station located at either Berwick Upon Tweed or Alnmouth with local services to and from Chathill station.

Our View

A deceptive three bedroom semi detached home, presented ready for occupation and benefiting from an edge of village location yet being readily accessible to the village amenities. Approaching the property there is a single gated pedestrian access and a double gated car access to the front and side gardens. The gardens are enclosed, the front being laid mainly to lawn with hedging and borders, whilst the rear garden has a hardstanding area, a feature gravel garden, seating area, planted beds and a lawned area along with a useful shed. Entering the property, the hallway gives access to the dual aspect sitting/dining room with a feature fireplace, which in turn leads to the conservatory and then the rear garden beyond. The breakfasting kitchen is fitted with a range of wall and base units and has a separate access door to the rear garden. To the first floor the landing area benefits from a window to the side allowing in natural light, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom.
