Wingates is a hamlet which stands on a hill approximately 10 miles northwest of Morpeth, with views of the Simonside Hills and the valleys of the river Coquet and Font. Towards the east can be seen parts of the beautiful Northumberland coastline. The village sits on a no through road. Local shopping facilities can be found in Longframlington, Longhorsley or Rothbury, with wider facilities being found in the market town of Alnwick or Morpeth. Access to the mainline railway services can also be found in Morpeth, and Newcastle Internation Airport is approximately 26 miles away.

This charming country cottage is located in a sought after country location and provides an interesting fusion of contemporary and character features. Located to the eastern side of Wingates on a no through road, the property is approached through a red gravelled drive with gated access and stone walling to the front. The gardens are located to the front, side and rear, with shrubs, plants, trees, planted beds and borders, a lawn and a woodland area to the rear. To the front garden there are a number of sitting areas to enjoy the views. The property is accessed via a porch which in turn leads to the kitchen which is fitted with a range of wall and base units, a wood burner and a skylight window. From here, there is a hallway providing access to the conservatory which enjoys views over the countryside to the front of the property. There is a contemporary bathroom with separate shower and bath, a storage study area and the charaterful sitting room with feature fireplace and exposed woodwork to the ceiling. To the first floor there are two bedrooms, the front bedroom being particularly generous and enjoys views of the countryside.
