" Newbiggin-by-the-Sea is a small town in Northumberland lying on the North Sea coast. Once an important port for shipping grain and a coal mining town, it is still a small fishing port making use of traditional coble boats. The town attracts nature lovers who come to watch the North Sea seabird passage during the autumn and spring. It is also home to a seaside links golf course that is open year-round. The town is located just 3 miles from Ashington, 9 miles from the market town of Morpeth and 17 miles from the centre of Newcastle with its excellent shopping and vibrant nightlife. A well presented and charming three bedroom terraced house in a sought-after location. I deal for either a first time buyer or as an investment property. The uPVC front door leads into an internal porch with parquet flooring and a further door leads in to the very spacious lounge with a feature fireplace and electric fire with a wooden surround. A set of French doors provide lots of natural light into this comfortable room and lead out on to a low maintenance south facing front garden. A further set of French doors lead to the large L-shaped dining room allowing the main living spaces to enjoy a very open plan feel if the French doors are left open, or they can be closed to create a more intimate dining experience. A uPVC window overlooks the rear of the property. The kitchen is accessed from the dining room and has a tiled floor, spot lights in the ceiling, plenty of wall and base units, integrated extractor fan, under bench electric oven, four burner gas hob and space for a fridge and washing machine. The kitchen is finished with complimentary roll-top work surfaces and splash back tiling. There is a uPVC door leading to the rear yard. Stairs lead to the first floor, where the following rooms await: Master bedroom: a double room with lots of fitted cupboards and a rear facing window. Bedroom two: another double room with views towards the sea and laminate flooring to the floor. Bedroom three: a good sized single room, which is very light, with views to the front of the property and towards the sea. There is a fitted cupboard in this room. Bathroom: Karndean-type floor, low maintenance ceiling with spot lights, large claw foot free standing bath with Victorian style taps, pedestal hand basin, WC, a shower cubicle with mains shower and a Victorian style radiator. From the landing there is loft access from a wooden drop down loft ladder. The loft area has been converted into a further room with wood cladding to the walls and a Velux window and has lighting, power sockets and a radiator. Externally there is a low maintenance front garden which is mainly decked. Being south facing, the garden is a lovely sunny entertaining space and a wall and fence encloses the garden. The rear yard is a useful space with a large wooden shed which has been connected to mains electricity and the current owners have a tumble dryer and an extra freezer housed in here. The property benefits from UPVC double glazing and gas central heating.
