" Little Lodge dates from 1832 and was originally part of the local Duncombe Estate, as shown on the plaque at the front of the house. It was home to the Estate's rat catcher, located next to the original Bakery. Full of character and history the cottage has been sympathetically extended in recent years to provide a charming village home with many original features including the beams and inglenook fireplace in the sitting room.
