" When the owners of this property bought the house five years ago there were just the two of them embarking on their first purchase. However having a family was always part of the game plan and this house was purchased very much with a family in mind. They were certainly surprised and impressed at the extent of the accommodation offered, as the two storey rear extension gave added accommodation over and above what was available in their price range. They were also amazed at the size of the plot with this house as it has an extensive side garden which provides further potential for an extension but also made a great play area for their children. They wanted to live in a village environment and with this house you have the best of both worlds as there are orchards along side the property but is conveniently situated close to the village centre with its shops and railway station. The owners have incurred much time and expense in modernising and refurbishing the house and have succeeded in providing a modern contemporary environment with a dream kitchen and a luxury bathroom with separate shower cubicle and oversized bath. Some rearranging of the first floor accommodation has also given the owners a small study, which has been ideal when working from home.

What the Owner says:

When we bought our house five years ago we were very much thinking of having our family so its location was important to us being in a pedestrian walk way and on a large corner plot which we thought would be ideal for our children. We have made some good friends in the area and have enjoyed the peaceful position of our property with the orchards along side and being on the outskirts of the village. We love our kitchen and bathroom and the layout of the dining room just off the kitchen means that we can enjoy entertaining without being isolated in the kitchen. We are intending to move out of the area initially into rented accommodation so that we can offer our property with no chain.
