" Picture the scene, a quiet cul-de-sac in a village location, you can walk within minutes to the mainline railway station, local shops, the village school, the local pub, restaurants and take away's. Does it seem too good to be true? well think again, because this house does exist, here and now and it is ready to move in to. The owners bought the house in 1996 and moved from out of the area so they researched several locations and found this house met virtually all their needs. The cul-de-sac was ideal, it was quiet and provided lots of on street parking for visitors and for their motor home plus there was a garage for the car.
To be able to walk to local shops and the railway station was a big attraction but to be within a short drive of the M2/M20 motorway connections was ideal for work before retirement beckoned. The rear extension is a delightful chill out space with a vaulted ceiling and skylight windows and the well designed shower room with utility area released space in the kitchen and is ideal when friends and relatives come to stay. Whether for a first time purchase, retirement or to start a family, this house will suit your needs on many levels, it is spacious, well maintained and excellent value for money.

What the Owner says:

It has always been our dream to live in the Scottish Hebrides and now we are retired our dreams can become a reality, which is why we are selling with no forward chain. We have enjoyed our home for the last 15 years and have spent much time and money improving and keeping the house well maintained. We have re-fitted the bathroom and kitchen, built the garden room and shower room and rebuilt the porch. We have also installed double glazing and redecorated throughout. We have also re-designed the garden to be low maintenance and have enjoyed many a sunny day relaxing outside. We hope the new owners are as happy in our house as we have been.
