I bought this property because of the size and location which was a good rental prospect.
The bedrooms were of a good size, along with the garden and I loved the fact it had a garage, not one which was just en bloc but one that we could access almost immediately from the garden so the setting was perfect.
I've changed the kitchen, carpets and updated the general decor. I've kept it neutral so it's easy to change and at least now someone could move straight in without the need to spend immediate money.
I'm not selling with a chain so timescale is relatively flexible.
