" You’re in for a surprise once you get through the door on this one. Deceiving is the first word that comes to mind as the owners have certainly transformed this 3 bedroom family home into something special. Having lived in the village for nearly 20 years they decided instead of moving, to create extra accommodation, as they loved the area so much.

The loft conversion, which is now an 18ft master bedroom, creates a huge space to escape to as it’s the only bedroom on this floor. To the first floor, one of the previous bedrooms has been converted to a contemporary shower room which was a must, according to the owners in the design. Originally there was only a bathroom downstairs which has been kept, now providing two bathrooms which is a luxury that not many of the surrounding properties share. Despite being in a picturesque village the list of amenities are surprising to say the least. Everything is pretty much within walking distance from primary schools, convenient stores, playgrounds and miles upon miles of nature walks.

If you venture further afield then you can take advantage of one of Europe’s largest shopping centre’s Bluewater, or alternatively an array of shops, bars and restaurants at Strood and Rochester.

Growing up in the village we knew that we wouldn’t live anywhere else, so when this property come up we saw the immediate potential. We were looking for sometime but because of the popularity of the village they were hard to come by. Within the immediate area there are local schools, dog walks and a picturesque scenery. All we had to do is make the house of our dreams. Improvements included the loft conversion, boiler, bathroom and decoration throughout.
