" Many modern homes can all look too similar, but when Steve and Lesley set out to build their dream home, it was going to be completely individual and specifically designed with their family in mind.The feeling of being a bit crowded when you walk into an entrance hall of a property, particularly with family all taking coats and shoes off at the same time, will certainly not be a problem here, as it enjoys a 23ft hallway.The owners designed the accommodation to be extremely flexible and since their children have grown up, one of the ground floor rooms is now being used as a gym, as well as a separate office on the ground floor.Everything a family could need is available in the village and particularly for a young family, the popular local primary school and surrounding open spaces, as well as the convenience stores, is all you would ever need.The owners have not only enjoyed the space of their home, but it has been as much about the space available outside, with walks along the seafront within just a few yards from the house and extensive surrounding nature walks, it has been a great place to blow the cobwebs away after a hard days work.

We’ve lived in the village for several years and certainly never tired of the peace and quiet that we enjoy here at the end of the village. When I want to take the dogs for a walk, all I need to do is literally open the front door and within a couple of minutes I am walking along the sea wall, enjoying the sea views, or letting them run on all the surrounding open spaces. As its quite a modern house, its very warm in the winter time, but it’s the summer months that it has been enjoyable, with a cooling sea breeze often coming through the house when we have the windows open. It’s been a great home for entertaining and we will be sorry to leave.
