" Expected to be surprised with the space within this home! It is rare to be able to truly say that the home is deceptive, with the front hiding this gem! With bags of charm this 3 bedroom character home offers a 4 floor layout. Walking into the home, the lounge is a large, inviting space, with a sunken ‘snug area’ housing a fuel burner. The room is great for entertaining guests, or cosy up in front of the burner on a cold winters day. The kitchen has been re-fitted with modern units housing integral appliances, and offering space for a good size table to enjoy breakfast, and leads to a very handy downstairs loo! There are 3 well proportioned bedrooms over the top two floors- ideal for friends to share or visiting guests.
The bathroom has been so well planned that, without feeling claustrophobic, there is not only a bath, but also a shower cubicle! However- there is still further space in the cellar- which currently houses a sauna used as storage space. It was both the size and space this home offered that initially drew us in, but then the quirky feel in particular found to the ground floor with a real open plan feel yet a lower snug/lounge almost seemed separate too.
The kitchen is fantastic in size and great for entertaining, whilst the split sleeping area provides both space and privacy to the 1st and 2nd floor, and a cellar conversion downstairs we had such plans for, all this literally walking distance to the town centre ..ideal.
