" There`s so much to love about this stunning and huge Victorian Semi. If big, bold rooms and wonderfully preserved original features are your bag- then this home needs your undivided attention. The beautiful bay fronted homes on Guest Road have been a favourite of ours for a long time, and this one doesn`t disappoint.

Huge sash windows decorated with shutters, the original front door painted pillar box red, a well-stocked garden and a gated driveway all make up the front of the house. Walking into the grand hallway there`s original detail with every step; naked wooden floors, ornate cornices, cast iron radiators and a beautifully carved banister leading you all the way up to the second floor.

There are three reception spaces downstairs including two large but very cosy lounge rooms containing open fires and bold stone and iron fireplaces. A separate dining area leads onto the kitchen. Each space has its own unique character and is brimming with original features. One striking quality we love is the light in each room. Sunlight floods through the original sash windows and really brings the property to life. The Victorian styled open plan kitchen has bold black granite worktops with chequered tiles surrounding the seven burner stove. Walls have been opened up so that the kitchen leads into the dining area one side and doors open into the garden on another.

Upstairs there are four huge bedrooms. The master sits at the front and has its own en-suite, which itself is the size of a bedroom. The second and third bedrooms each have gorgeous leafy views of the garden. The fourth room on the second floor feels very private and works as either a guest room or large home office. There are separate rooms in the eaves of this floor currently used as storage but could easily be converted to another good sized bathroom.

The garden: The best way to really appreciate the size of the garden, is when you see it from one of the bedroom windows, you get the birds eye view of just how much green space there is. On the ground, mature trees and shrubs hide away lovely little pockets of space around the fabulously sized lawn. There certainly is plenty of space to enjoy our beautiful Prestwich sunshine.
