Here we have a spacious Mid Terrace Residence, ideally suited as a family home being situated on a popular established residential area within the celebrated castle town of Beaumaris. The property has the advantage of a private paved rear garden which encompasses a Detached Garage whilst there is communal off parking, also located to the rear. From the first floor there are distant views of the Snowdonia mountains and a glimpse of the Menai Strait. The front and rear elevations have been given a fresh lick of paint, thereby smartening its kerb appeal, however, internally the property does now require extensive modernising and updating work. LOCATION Beaumaris is situated along the south east coastline of Anglesey, a town which is home to the last Edwardian castle to be built in Wales. The town is steeped in history and home to an interesting mixture of Medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture. Sitting on the shores of the Menai Strait with the panoramic backdrop of the mountains of Snowdonia from the promenade and pier is quite dramatic. Beaumaris was established by Edward I as the site for the last of his 'iron ring' castles dating back to 1295. Other historic buildings include the court house, the Victorian gaol and the Church of St Mary and St Nicholas. There is much to enjoy in and around the vibrant town with quaint streets to explore and a wide variety of independent shops, taverns and restaurants. The area provides a great spot for fishing and sailing and there is also a golf course where you can revel in the superb views. Located further up the shore is Puffin Island which is home to an ancient priory with the dramatic coastline culminating at Black Point with its dramatic lighthouse. With plenty of fine beaches and coves in the vicinity together with excellent road links and great places to shop at Menai Bridge with its Waitrose store and the city of Bangor, the area could be just what you are looking for.
