" Offered with no upward chain is this two double bedroom detached bungalow. Occupying a corner plot the property offers scope for significant extension subject to local planning permission and is conveniently located for both Wigston Magna and South Wigston. Although in need of refurbishment and modernisation the property does benefit from UPVC double glazed windows throughout, gas fired central heating, ample off-road parking and detached single garage. The property briefly comprises of an entrance porch and on into an entrance hall off of which is an airing cupboard housing the hot water cylinder and doors off to all rooms. The bedrooms are situated toward the front of the property, both of which are double rooms with radiators and windows to the front aspect. There is a well proportioned lounge/diner which features a gas fire set into a feature fireplace with timber mantelpiece and raised hearth. Behind the gas fire is a back boiler. There is space for a table and chairs and being at the rear of the property there is potential to add a conservatory or sun/garden room if desired. Also at the rear is the kitchen, which although in need of a refit does currently have a range of base and wall mounted units with roll-edge work surfaces. There is a built-in four ring gas hob and built-in electric oven underneath. There is space for all essential appliances including plumbing for a washing machine. There is a window to the rear aspect and a UPVC door to the rear garden. Finally there is a shower room comprising a three piece suite to include a shower cubicle with mains shower, low level WC and pedestal wash hand basin. To the outside the property is set well back from the main road via a wide grass verge and side road. There are timber gates guarding the driveway which provides off-road parking for several vehicles as well as direct car access to the detached single garage. At the rear is a larger than average garden that wraps around the side of the garage forming an 'L' shape. Although the garden does require landscaping it is fully enclosed and does have a paved patio seating area.
