" When the current owners bought this house, they were struck by the space and inviting atmosphere, as well as the potential to put their mark on this lovely home. Indeed they have done this by carrying out a great deal of refurbishment and also adding a stunning rear extension to provide an informal eating and sitting area. The house occupies a quiet position in the corner of this cul de sac, making it ideal for a young family whose priorities are for a safe and secure environment. As soon as you enter through the front door, the space that this home has to offer is apparent. With a large central hallway, from which all ground floor rooms are easily accessed, a galleried landing above provides much natural light. The 3 principal reception rooms are all a good size, with the main living room having double doors onto the rear terrace as well as a fireplace (gas fed) with marble surround and hearth. The contemporary kitchen has a wonderful mix of wooden and stone worktops. The central island, with its breakfast bar, has Teak wood tops and built in Bosch microwave, plate warner and dishwasher, whilst the remainder of the units are Cherrywood. There is a good range of built in appliances including Britannia gas range and 2 Bosch fridges and 2 Bosch freezers. The large utility, housing the gas boiler, has a further built in fridge and freezer as well as plumbing for washing machine and dryer and plenty of further storage. The kitchen and utility has tiled floor which extends into the stunning extension, a great place to relax with friends over an informal meal or just to sit and watch television. With 2 sets of double doors to the terrace and large glass lantern top, this is a room that you will use for your day to day living. Upstairs the central galleried landing gives access to all 4 double bedrooms. Our clients have cleverly converted the 5th bedroom to a dressing room for their master bedroom, but if required, this could easily be converted back. With en suite bath and shower to the main bedroom, the other bedrooms have use of the family bathroom which has a Aqualisa shower over.

Outside
To the front, the driveway provides parking for 4 cars and gives access to the detached double garage. The rear gardens are a lovely feature of the house and give a large amount of privacy. With a large stone terrace that runs the full width of the house, as well as pond, the remainder of the gardens are laid to lawn. Our clients have also erected a large timber summerhouse which is ideal for entertaining. "
