" One of the most telling traits of properties built before the Second World War is the generous garden size and deep frontage. This creates a much more private setting and ensures there are excellent parking arrangements. Internally, there are many improvements to the overall decoration and fixtures in addition to extended accommodation in two key areas. The ground-floor layout flows extremely well, offering the option of formal rooms and open-plan space for entertaining. The rear extension has been very well planned and opens out off the kitchen creating a fantastic family room with vaulted ceiling, double-doors onto the garden and an attractive kitchen area incorporating a central work-station. Some of the flooring includes wood-block (herringbone) design and can be seen in the hall-way and two of the three reception areas. Further accommodation includes four double bedrooms and three bathroom facilities - two of which are en-suite shower rooms within the master bedroom and guest bedroom. The main family bathroom is very well proportioned as it was previously a bedroom before the loft-conversion was completed. Externally the rear garden is a hugely influential aspect of this property and extends to approximately 70 feet in depth and faces in a southerly direction. The surrounding houses' all have similar size gardens creating a very green and leafy environment. "
