The house occupies a pleasant non estate setting, just off the village centre. Rougham has a primary school, church, public house, post office and sports/village hall, and is very well placed for access to the nearby market town of Bury St Edmunds. The A14 is also within easy reach providing links to Cambridge, Ipswich, Norwich, London and Stansted Airport via the A11/M11.

Woodfield is thought to have been constructed in the 1970's and, as is typical of homes built in this decade, offers very well proportioned rooms with large windows affording lots of natural light.
