" This property is one of four of a very sensitive and skilful modernisation of former Victorian cottages. The property is in a beautiful setting, surrounded by fields and woods, back off a long private driveway from a small country lane.

* modernised two bedroom cottage enjoying a stunning position * lovely views * character and feature * good specification kitchen * lpg heating * brace and batten doors *

DIRECTIONS: From Diss via the A1066, through Garboldisham. After passing Riddlesworth Hall School on the left hand side turn left signposted Knettishall Heath Country Park. After 0.6 of a mile turn right into private roadway where the property will be found at the end.

This property is one of four of a very sensitive and skilful modernisation of former Victorian cottages. Much of the period feel of the property has been retained with the use of brace and batten pine doors, windows where possible have been restored, retaining the original glass and there is a working fireplace to the main reception room. Whilst this work has been carried out the twenty first century has been subtly incorporated with a high specification kitchen complete with stainless steel oven, ceramic hob, cooker hood and integral dishwasher included in the sale price and there is LPG gas fired central heating via radiators. There is ceramic tiling to the bathroom and kitchen floor, a shower to the bathroom, a good provision of power points and the property has been carpeted.

We feel the most important factor is the beautiful setting, surrounded by fields and woods, back off a long private driveway from a small country lane and close to Knettishall Heath Country Park. Each window gives a particularly pleasing rural outlook and for those who want an "away from it all" setting without being totally isolated, we suggest the earliest viewing. The property lies on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, between Thetford and Diss.

The properties originally belonged to the Riddlesworth Estate and as the cottage names imply, were associated with the equestrian side of the estate and the cottages purportedly were occupied by the grooms. The developers have carried out a comprehensive programme of renovation and refurbishment including re-roofing in original Norfolk pantiles with new guttering, re-wiring, re-plumbing, re-plastering, the provision of central heating and the fitting of a Shaker style kitchen. The property is vacant and therefore fast possession can be given.
