Surya is a panelised timber frame property erected in 2007/8 for the owners and sited in a garden plot in this North Suffolk village just a few minutes drive from Diss from where there is a regular rail service to London (Liverpool Street) c. 90 minutes. The frame was made and erected by New World Timber Frame of Saffron Walden and incorporates the Tradis system and Warmcel insulation from Excel industries. The walls, floor and roof are insulated to a very high degree.

Offering spacious and light 4 double bedroom accommodation, the internal space is positioned around a symmetrical arrangement with the reception hall and first floor landing at the very heart of the whole. Here light from windows and skylights meet at the centre of the property, a shaft stretching from the ground floor to the apex of the roof. Built according to the principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, the entrance faces due East. Leave Diss passing the Golf Club on the Stuston Road. Proceed to the roundabout where you go straight over and then take the first turning on the right. The entrance to "Surya" is the second driveway on the right after a few hundred metres.
