" Want to wake up each morning in a beautiful old house with a wonderful view of historical Beverley Beck? Like the idea of a 3 storey property with character in abundance and plenty of space? Behind the door of No 6 lies a veritable cornucopia of period features. Could this be the house for you?

Stepping through the doorway to this property is like stepping back in time but with the comfort of good old modern day central heating!
Kick your shoes off in the entrance and open the door to the large living space which provides so much scope for multi-functional use you'll be spoiled for choice as to how to arrange your furniture.
A beautiful fire place with a wooden surround, black tiled hearth and a cast iron black insert is to your left. Who doesn't love the atmosphere only a real fire can create? You'll be the envy of all your friends as you throw another log onto the fire and the flames start dancing. Fitted cupboards in the alcoves to either side of the fire place provide a clever use of storage space and in addition there is shelving to one alcove.
Good lighting is assured throughout as there is a large window to the front and a picture window to the back between this room and the kitchen.
Stepping up into the kitchen and onto the gorgeous slate floor you'll notice there's room for a table and chairs if required. The high gloss cream cabinets are in keeping with the era and there's also a good old fashioned pantry - fabulous. The tongue and groove ceiling is another great feature and has spot lights inset. A stable door opens out onto the attractive stepped paved area with its assorted shrubbery and ornamental planters. You can enjoy this view from the window in front of the sink in the kitchen. You can also access this area via a communal courtyard area to the left of the property.
Returning to the living area there is a door to the side leading to the staircase.
On the first landing bare floorboards, exposed spindles and a dado rail all are all in keeping with the character of this building.
There are two bedrooms and the bathroom here.
The bathroom is to the rear and has a tiled floor, W/C, sink, shower cubicle and a lovely deep bath. The suite is white.
Both bedrooms have exposed wooden floorboards.
The master bedroom, to the front of the property, is a beautiful, large, bright and airy room with a wonderful view across the Beck - a proper window on the World! With its deep skirting boards, dado rail, coving and two built in wardrobes this room oozes character. If this sounds too good to be true - there's one more extra that may tip you over the edge - your very own fire place. The blackened surround with its brown tiled hearth really does turn this room into something special. Imagine how cosy that would be on a cold winters night?
The middle bedroom is currently being used as an office but there is plenty of room for a bed. Built in wardrobes to either side of the recess are a clever use of space and there's also a built in 3 drawer unit. Look out the back window and there is a lovely view of St Nicholas Church (or St Nicks as it is affectionately known).
Let's go up another floor.
The staircase to the second floor is exposed wood. At the top there is a built in cupboard and you turn right into the room.
Currently in use as a music room it will easily accommodate a double bed with plenty of room to spare. Sit yourself down on the built in window seat and contemplate how you would set this spacious room out. There's ample storage provided by a variety of built in cupboards and drawers, the flooring is laminate and the ceiling is white tongue and groove.
If you have been searching for somewhere oozing charm, character and plenty of living space this may well be the one for you.
Of course, seeing is believing , so seize your opportunity and book a viewing now before someone beats you to it. We'll show you round at a time that suits you.
