The historic market town of Kington benefits from a supermarket, library, doctors' surgery, primary and secondary schools and leisure facilities together with the golf club at Bradnor which is renowned as the highest 18-hole course in England. The surrounding area affords superb opportunities for outdoor activities, notably walking on Hergest Ridge, Bradnor Hill and Offa's Dyke. Further amenities can be found in the larger town of Leominster (15 miles) and the cathedral city of Hereford (20 miles) - distances are by road and approximate.
