" This is truly an imposing and exceptionally attractive five bedroom detached Victorian double fronted family home, located in the village of Witley.

The house was originally a pair of cottages dating back to the 18th century before being extended in the early 1880's, to create a significantly larger home with a grand frontage. On approaching the house there is a wrought iron gate set within an attractive brick wall which encloses the front garden. Small box hedging border the gravel paths leading up to the front porch with the remaining garden laid to lawn. The pitched entrance porch with original inset floor tiles and leaded stain glass windows, provide the first glimpse of the wealth of character features to be found beyond the threshold. Once inside, a wide and inviting entrance hall with beautiful high ceilings is flooded with natural light and leads on to each of the principal reception rooms, including the box bay fronted sitting room with gas fireplace, exposed hard wood floors, side return with french doors out to a courtyard, double aspect dining room on the opposite side of the hall and a third reception room as a family entertainment room. A kitchen/ breakfast room across the back of the property falls within the oldest part of the house and offers a shaker style cream range of fitted kitchen units with granite work surfaces, integrated appliances, gas fired AGA and french doors out to the rear patio. Furthermore, there is a separate utility room, larder and cloakroom. The generous proportions continue upstairs with a split level landing leading on to the master suite with a box bay window offering views across the rear garden. A 'Jack & Jill' four piece bathroom is finished in a neutral palette with separate shower to the panel enclosed bath and a walk in airing cupboard.
