" A fine detached property with generously proportioned living space and wooded outlook on the southern edge of Godalming town centre. Smartly presented and extended by our clients, the property is set high above the road behind gardens that face South East and provide lovely views of the wooded valley side. There is an open plan feel to the accommodation with a large living room that forms the heart of the house with a super kitchen/dining room adjacent. Comprehensively fitted with modern units and white goods the kitchen is large enough to have a separate dining area as well as the working kitchen. There are views to the front as well as doors to the rear terrace and side access. The chalet nature of the property means that there is a degree of flexibility of use with the bedroom accommodation but in essence there are two good sized bedrooms on the ground floor as well as a recently refitted family bathroom. The first floor is a real feature and currently provides a superb master suite, with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light. A large bedroom is complimented by a dressing room and an excellent, contemporary shower room although the dressing room could be used as a nursery or perhaps even configured into another, smaller fourth bedroom.

Situation
Situated between Godalming and Milford close to Squires garden centre, Secretts Farm Shop and the Inn on the Lake and about a mile from the station (Waterloo 47 minutes). Godalming High Street with its fine range of local businesses and two supermarkets is within easy reach, as is Guildford (about 4.5 miles), with the University and Cathedral. The A3 is within 1.5 miles and provides fast access to London and the South Coast.

Adjacent to the road side the property has off road parking and a detached garage. There are then steps from this level to a higher, secluded and level area of sunny, lawned garden that leads to the front of the house. This is broken by some raised beds with a good deal of privacy afforded by mature shrub and tree borders. The bulk of the garden lies to the front although there is a small area of raised garden to the rear that could be converted into terrace that could be enjoyed directly off the back of the kitchen.
