" An individual mid-1950s built detached chalet bungalow affording 3 double bedroom accommodation and commanding a glorious 0.58 acre garden plot with over 100 ft frontage to a prestigious village lane.

Description
The property enjoys a South Easterly rear aspect over its own sweeping lawned gardens from both reception rooms, the kitchen and main bedroom suite, whilst the front facade is to a symmetrical twin gabled design featuring dogtooth brickwork built by a well respected firm of Medstead builders in circa 1955. Characteristics range from the parquet flooring found to most of the ground floor, and a working fireplace, to a profusion of built-in cupboards, several quarry tiled window sills and beaded internal doors. However, there is still undoubted scope for the incoming purchaser. Another primary feature is the distinctive reception hall with independent access to all the downstairs rooms. Comfort facets include double glazing, a gas heating system with thermostatic valves to the majority of the radiators, and cavity wall insulation.

Location

It is screened by a hedge being located at the Eastern/village end of Paice Lane opposite a bluebell copse. Among the village's attributes are the Handy Store and hardware shop/post office, Castle of Comfort Inn, St Andrew's and United Reform churches, primary school, village hall and green with a projected pond, bowls club and tennis court, and local interest clubs. Medstead also has a doctors surgery and family businesses including Reads Butchers in a miniature retail park. Within 5.5 miles, Alton's High Street provides major shops, an M&S store and regular open air market events.
