" This four bedroom detached family home is located in a truly popular part of town, in a quiet cul-de-sac under a mile from Alton's High Street and just over a mile from the mainline railway station with its links to London Waterloo.Benefits include a private and enclosed rear garden with a westerly aspect, three separate reception rooms downstairs and four bedrooms on the first floor with an en-suite to the master.There is a refitted kitchen with breakfast bar and also space for an American style fridge freezer. Another plus is driveway parking for two cars with scope to widen this further. Also there is additional visitor parking available in the close.The property is ideal for a growing family who wants to be within easy reach of all the local shops and schools without being right in the centre.

We chose this as our family home because it's an easy walk to the shops and schools in town. It meant we didn't have to get the car out to go to the local pubs and restaurants, and it was very convenient for the station when we wanted to go up to London.We will miss our friendly neighbours and the easy access to the open countryside, just a couple of minutes' walk from our front door. The open fields and woodlands are a wonderful, and very convenient for dog owners.We enjoyed over 12 happy years in this house before we felt it was time to move on. We can thoroughly recommend the area, and it hold many wonderful memories for us.
