" An incredible amount of space is on offer at this four double bedroom detached house. Set in the highly sought after village of Stroud, it is easy to see why people rarely move away from the area. Stunning country walks, excellent schooling and a fabulous pub all on your doorstep.Sometimes, when an estate agent says the bedrooms are doubles, it is debateable, however, we can assure you that all four bedrooms here are indeed double bedrooms. One hopes that the generous bedroom sizes will reduce the risk of an argument over who has which room!The vast amount of space continues with a lovely bright entrance hall that is so big it could double up as a study area. The kitchen is very well equipped and is complete with a breakfast bar.The conservatory could be used for many purposes including taking in the beautiful views over the garden and just relaxing.The garden has an orchard feel to it with a range of plum, apple and pear trees, almost your five a day! Parking for three cars plus a garage should hopefully mean your "tick boxes" are complete.We really must insist that you view this lovely family home because the unassuming nature means that a drive by will not do it justice.

We bought our home 19 years ago because of its rural position, large spacious rooms and its light and airy feel. It's a family home that has been enjoyed by our children, grandchildren and pets. We make full use of the countryside walks, the local hostelry and the market town of Petersfield.Over the years we have improved our home by adding double glazing, a sun deck, roof and cavity wall insulation, a brick fireplace and a conservatory/multi purpose room, this has been a yoga studio and games room but is now a relaxing conservatory. We plan to down size and stay in Stroud because it is such a warm and supportive community
