" This beautiful grade II listed character cottage is situated in a sought after location just a short walk from both Petersfield heath and lake on one side, and the town centre on the other. The property has a wealth of character with features including exposed beams, a log burner and feature fireplace in the main living room alone all combining to set the scene for a relaxed evening in while the dining area is ideal for entertaining guests. The current owner has made a number of changes to the cottage to include the addition of the bright kitchen to the rear of the property, featuring a gorgeous 'Belfast' sink, and space for all of the usual appliances as well as a breakfast table. On the first floor there are three bedrooms with the spacious master bedroom lovely and light thanks to its dual aspect windows, while In the second bedroom there is plenty of storage space in the eaves which in part remain intact from when the property was first built. In the bathroom the current owner really has made the most of the space with a suite comprising of a full size bath, basin and WC.

There is a private courtyard garden to the side of the property, with a wall surrounded by flower and shrub boarders, creating a beautiful outdoor area to be enjoyed when the weather allows. We would highly recommend an internal viewing of this property to really appreciate all of its character.

What the Owner says:

I have enjoyed making all of the changes that I have to this property. I have done a lot to modernise the property but keeping in with its character. I feel the kitchen makes a huge improvement to the property allowing me ample space. When I made changes to the bathroom the builder initially laughed at my plans but when the work was complete he was in agreement with me that it worked well and made the most of the space.I love the location of the cottage it is in a perfect spot for me to pop into town or when I want to enjoy the outdoors I can take a walk around the heath. I really hope the next owners of the property will love the cottage as much as I have.
