" A particularly fine conversion of a period barn, which is believed to date from the 16th century. This high quality conversion we understand was completed in the early 1970s, results in an intriguing character home, which in essence provides excellent reception room space, ideal for entertaining, and three bedroom suites. Of particular note is the beautifully proportioned vaulted and oak beamed drawing room, with its huge open stone fireplace, complete with a matching full height chimney breast. Leading off this room are flights of steps, down to a study area, and a fine central dining room. There is an abundance of lovely old solid oak joinery, cupboard and storage space. From the Smallbone of Devizes solid pine fitted kitchen are french doors opens onto a walled front courtyard garden which is a real sun trap.

Situation
Puttenham lies south of The Hog's Back, virtually midway between Guildford and Farnham, with this barn being tucked away off the established building line, right in the heart of this favoured Surrey village, within a short walk from the historic 12th century village church, Puttenham First School and The Good Intent Public House. Godalming is within 4.5 miles providing the nearest mainline station, whilst the county town of Guildford is a little over 5 miles away providing outstanding facilities, together with an alternative rail connection to waterloo in under 40 minutes. A wide choice of schools are in the immediate vicinity, as are several golf courses including Puttenham Heath, The West Surrey, Hurtmore, and Hankley. The village is surrounded by many miles of open countryside including The Old Pilgrim's Way.
