Communications are first class, with easy access onto the near by A3. Petersfield and Haselmere provide mainline services to London Waterloo and Pulborough to London Victoria.

There is a wide choice of schools in the area, including a primary school in Easebourne. There are excellent recreational facilities in the area, including golf at Cowdray Park, Goodwood and Pulborough. Polo is played at Cowdray Park. Sailing at Chichester harbour, Itchenor and Bosham. Footpaths and bridleways on the nearby open countryside form part of the South Downs National Park. There are also theatres at Guildford and Chichester.
