" Sitting in a quiet and yet extremely central location this very appealing period house has been a thoroughly enjoyed family home for our clients over the last 30 years that they have been there and overall it is plain to see why. The house has huge depth of character and has been sympathetically extended and now very comfortably blends the feel of its original period with all of the expectations and versatility that we expect of family houses today. The house has a certain degree of flexibility to the way in which the accommodation can be used according to the needs of an incoming buyer but undoubtedly lends itself extremely well to day to day family life as it does to entertaining.

The character of the house is evident throughout the accommodation which starts with a very warm and welcoming reception hall with a lovely solid wood turning staircase. The sitting room on the front has been cleverly extended to the side by our clients to enlarge what is a very comfortable and attractive double aspect room which has a central fireplace that currently houses a very attractive log burner. The dining room is on the side of the house and is of an excellent size and could equally well be used as a family room/TV room if preferred as there is ample space for eating in the kitchen and or conservatory. On the back of the house these two rooms are very much open plan to each other and create a wonderful informal day to day living space which is ideally positioned to take advantage of the terrace and the rear garden. The kitchen is fitted out with an excellent range of Moben units and various integrated appliances while the conservatory would make an equally pleasant breakfast room as it has such an appealing outlook over the rear garden.

Upstairs the master bedroom is on the back of the house and is a very comfortable double with its own en suite shower room while the remaining bedrooms are likewise all doubles and share the use of a very nicely and recently refitted family bathroom. All in all this is a hugely appealing home in an excellent and very central location. "
