" An imposing and most appealing house in classical style with a splendid, 'in and out' drive approach and mature garden setting with mature grounds of about 1 acre. The high standard of appointment, attention to detail and excellent presentation enhance the well proportioned largely south west facing accomodation which provides most comfortable, sunny and flexible living space with four fine rooms and a spacious first floor. The elevations are of warm multi coloured brick with a parapet and a handsome portico entrance, square paned windows with some shutters under a largely tiled roof. There are ranges of bespoke hand tailored joinery including fitted furniture and cupboards, panelled doors and other fittings of quality. A large, substantial and indiviual house with a welcoming atmosphere

Situation
The house lies on the edge of the village of Churt, about 0.8 of a mile to the south and just south of the National Trust Frensham Ponds and Common, in an established tree lined road of substantial houses. The countryside surrounding Churt is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and of Great Landscape Value and is within the Green Belt. This area is renowned for its commons and walking and riding country much within the ownership of the National Trust and a footpath linking to Frensham Common adjoins the garden. Churt is a popular, thriving village with a sense of community and a church, infant and nursery schools, inns, local shops and post office, garage, tennis club and a range of village activities. A 'bus service connects the old towns of Farnham and Haslemere, both about 6.5 miles, with comprenensive shopping, schools and regular trains to London Waterloo in under the hour. The A3 London/Portsmouth road at Hindhead tunnel is about 3 miles.

A lengthy, gravelled, curving 'in and out' drive leads around lawn and many trees to a sweep at the front of the house with ample parking including, through pillars with iron gates, in a large brick paved courtyard adjoining the Integral Double Garage. A paved sun terrace runs the full width of the house on the south west side with sets of steps to a lawned, shrub and flower garden adjoining the Heated Swimming Pool, about 36' x 17'6, with a pool patio incorporating a diving board, subterranean viewing window and a Sauna.    Steps with an ornamental pool and waterfall lead to a further lawned area with varieties of ornamental trees and shrubs. To one side with a Summerhouse is a macadamed, part walled 'Short' Tennis/Basketball/Games Area, about 84' x 40', suited to eg badminton, childrens football etc. Beyond is a gate to a path linking to Frensham Common. Close to the house is a paved terrace with a Heated Greenhouse and nearby an Equipment Store and Shed. Providing an attractive, elevated, sunny setting and in all about 1 acre. "
