" A remarkable 5 bedroom character home, located in truly exceptional gardens of 0.8 of an acre. This property sits in a hidden and unexpectedly tranquil spot only 0.4 miles from the town centre. The house is positioned in largely level and mature gardens backing onto the cliffs of the old quarry. This property offers an amazing opportunity for the new owner to modernise, extend and personalise (subject to planning permission). Built around 1928, the home reflects the architecture and design of the Arts & Crafts movement. The property is dated but full of character features including bay windows, wood panelling and a beautiful oak staircase leading from the reception hall. This property is perfectly located 0.4 miles from Guildford's pretty cobbled high street and is just 0.7 miles from Guildford mainline station, which offers a fantastic service into London Waterloo in about 36 minutes.
