" A well presented detached modern property which has been greatly improved and extended over recent years byt the current owners. Sitting fairly centrally within its plot the property benefits from a pleasant aspect to both front and rear. On entering the house you first notice the sizeable hallway which leads into the sitting room, kitchen/breakfast room, dining room and cloakroom. Situation
Bownham Mead, a privately maintained development, is located on the periphery of Rodborough & Minchinhampton Commons. These Commons together make up some 700 acres of hilltop land vested in the National Trust providing ideal opportunities for walking, riding and golf. Minchinhampton, a former Cotswold market town, is the nearest centre approx. 2 miles distant where a number of local amenities including schools, Post Office, shops, library and doctors' surgery can be found. The closest major centre is Stroud 2.5 miles distant, a quirky "Bohemian" town built at the centre of five valleys. The canal system is presently being renovated. There is a selection of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, award-winning farmers' market and other amenities including leisure facilities. The Stroud railway line has direct links to London (Paddington).
