" This is a fine individual detached house, built in the grounds of an old rectory, and sitting in extensive gardens of about 0.8 of an acre. There's plenty of space to expand into, with sitting room, with open fireplace, dining room, kitchen/breakfast room, with adjoining utility room, and cloakroom/shower room, on the ground floor. There's access down into the cellar, which is a surprisingly extensive space to use, with plenty of headroom. There are 4 bedrooms on the upper floor, with bathroom/shower room, and separate WC. The wonderful gardens are partly walled, with lawns, apple, pear, medlar and walnut trees, as well as more mature trees. There's plenty of parking in the driveway and a garage tucked away. The village of Down Hatherley lies only around 5 miles from the centre of Cheltenham, and about 3 miles from Gloucester, and so is ideal for those who want to be in a semi rural environment while still being within easy reach of facilities, and M5 access. A good sized individual detached house, in need of some improvement, with a lovely garden.
