" Lovingly refurbished over the past 3 years, this warm & welcoming 4 bedroom home located in the heart of Newent is a must-see. With parts of the property dating back to 17th Century this truly is a home with character, history and soul. The property has undergone extensive works over the last 3 years and is presented as a lovely home ready for anyone to move in to.

On the ground floor you enter the property to a reception room with floorboards and fireplace which leads through to the main reception. The main reception room is carpeted with an inglenook fireplace and is fitted with a Clearview log burning stove. Through a door this leads to the kitchen and dining area with timber beam features, a sizeable kitchen with large range cooker and a dining area with ample storage. Off the back is a well-maintained lean-to which acts as a sun-room/larder space with a guest WC off to one side. This leads out to the delightful, east-facing, walled garden which has been landscaped and is a beautiful oasis in the heart of this market town.

There are 2 staircases leading upstairs, on the 1st floor landing you have the master bedroom which is over-sized with beam features and is currently split as a bedroom & home offices and this also benefits from a lovely en suite which overlooks the gardens. The 2nd main bedroom, which feels more akin to a suite, also overlooks the garden and comes of a small hallway area which could easily be used for bedroom storage and there is a shower room set in the character eaves of this corner section. On this landing there is also a small single room the owners affectionately call the 'Van Gogh room' (as it looks a lot like the room VG painted that he once lived in).

To the top floor, accessed by a single staircase, is a 2nd single bedroom area with access to the loft. For the person so inclined, there is great potential to further develop the loft to create a 3rd sizeable bedroom suite if they so wanted. Failing that this space offers ample storage space as needed.

There is a cellar at the property accessed via the main reception. The property is 'for sale by owner' and the viewings will be undertaken by the owner of the property. The property is for sale vacant and chain free- viewing is highly recommended.  "
