" A wonderful period home, occupying a desirable village setting and offering beautifully presented accommodation. Formerly two cottages the property provides well-proportioned family accommodation peppered throughout with character. Features include, several period fireplaces, two wood-burners, exposed beams, deep window sills and wooden floors. Three reception rooms offer versatility in use, providing opportunity for a formal sitting room with focal fireplace, family room with French doors opening to the garden and a formal dining room with double aspect outlook and red brick fireplace. Located to the rear elevation is a beautifully appointed kitchen fitted with contemporary and stylish German-made units, corian worktops and splashbacks and enjoying a vaulted ceiling and French doors to the garden. Integral appliances include a double oven with plate-warming drawer, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and induction hob. A boot room adjoins the kitchen. From the hallway the main staircase rises to the first floor where two bedrooms and a family bathroom are positioned. Situation
North Nibley lies between the market towns of Wotton-under -Edge and Dursley and sits astride the Cotswold Way on the western edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The village has a primary school, church, chapel, village hall, pub, and a community owned village shop, with a further pub in the nearby hamlet of Waterley Bottom. A bus service runs from the village to Katherine Lady Berkeley?s Secondary School with its OFSTED rated Outstanding Sixth Form, in nearby Wotton-under-Edge. Wycliffe College and Junior School and Beaudesert Park are nearby private schools catering for all ages.

Many of the principal rooms of the house provide views of the landmark Tyndale Monument that stands on the Knoll overlooking the village. The monument was erected in 1866 to mark the village?s association with William Tyndale who translated the bible into English and provides a viewing platform facilitating views over several counties. The monument and the surrounding land are managed by separate voluntary trusts run by villagers and the parish council. There are numerous pathways and bridleways in the surrounding area and the village and nearby woodlands are very popular with walkers, runners, horse-riders and mountain bikers. Steps up through mature flower beds provide access to a level lawn, two further seating areas and a shed with attached log store. Raised vegetable beds are positioned to one side.
