" A superb opportunity to acquire a 2 bedroomed, 2 reception roomed detached bungalow in a stunning location set amidst level gardens with a garage and off road parking. NO CHAIN

In more detail ...
This wonderful home has belonged to the same family since it was built in 1966. At that time the family had the choice of bungalows in the road but they chose number 27 as it was thought to be the best plot position and size on the drive. The bungalow is very impressive being set amidst its own level gardens and is situated well back from the road. The block pavioured drive provides ample off road parking for 2/3 vehicles and leads to the double glazed front door via a covered entrance with outside light. The reception hallway is spacious, light filled and welcoming with original parquet flooring. It has a useful deep walk in cupboard with shelved storage and hanging rail. Many of the principal rooms have parquet flooring. The lounge adjoins the dining room via an arch and both rooms are located to the rear with lovely views across the garden. The lounge is given a focal point by a tiled fireplace inset with a gas fire. The kitchen is immaculately presented but would benefit from updating. The double glazed conservatory has space and plumbing for a washing machine with two base cupboards with complementary worktop. The two double bedrooms are situated to the front of the property and there is a bathroom and separate wc.

What the owner likes ...
Our Aunt & Uncle lived here happily since 1966 and loved this home. They loved the peace and quiet of the area but yet felt it was so convenient for shops and to get to town or the beach. Our Uncle chose this property due to it's lovely position and the size of the garden and they also felt the accommodation was extremely spacious and the layout was very well planned so that you can enjoy the views of the garden from the main living areas. It has always been a lovely place to visit and we have many happy family memories here.

Bear in mind ...
The rear garden is a secluded oasis of peace and tranquillity. It is level and mainly laid to lawn. The garage has a remotely controlled up and over door and light, water and power are supplied. The rear garden can be accessed from both sides of the bungalow via gated paths. This bungalow would now benefit from refurbishment to include a new kitchen and bathroom but Whitton & Laing say that it is a truly stunning bungalow on which to add your own design flair and highly commend a viewing to appreciate the wonderful lifestyle opportunity it affords.
