SITUATION Within level walking distance of the centre of Silverton. Silverton itself is a sought after village within the popular Exe Valley. The village has a high proportion of traditional period properties with local amenities including post office, stores, public houses, primary school, churchs and doctor's surgery. There are local bus services to both Exeter and Tiverton.<br/>  Silverton lies eight miles from both the market town of Tiverton as well as the cathedral and university city of Exeter with its wide range of facilities and amenities including theatres, restaurants and leisure facilities as well as a good range of first class public and private schools. At Exeter also there are two railway lines to London Waterloo and Paddington. Exeter International Airport lies four miles to the east of the city.<br/>  The Exe Valley itself has some of the most beautiful countryside in the county and has excellent access to the nearest M5 junction at Cullompton (seven miles distance). DESCRIPTION 34 Fore Street is a delightful, attached, Grade II Listed period cottage situated close to the heart of this popular village. Originally dating from the late 17th Century, it was originally a cider apple store. The property is of part cob, on stone plinth, and part brick walls with rendered elevations beneath a thatched roof. The property enjoys a wealth of character and quirkiness befitting a property of its age.<br/>  The KITCHEN / BREAKFAST ROOM is of a good size with fitted kitchen units beneath beechwood surfaces. Inset Belfast sink, brick fireplace with inset Rayburn (decorative only), exposed ceiling beam and stable door to rear courtyard. The SITTING ROOM has a chimney breast with inset multi-fuel Morso stove with exposed brick and stone walls to each side.<br/>  On the first floor are two good sized bedrooms each with a small feature fireplace and bathroom. OUTSIDE To the rear of the property is a paved courtyard area with two brick built storerooms, one of which has plumbing for washing machine. There are raised flower beds and a mixture of mature shrubs and climbers. To one side of the property a neighbours driveway passes, over which the owners of 34 & 36 have vehicular access. 36 Fore Street has pedestrian access across the yard. DIRECTIONAL NOTE I From Exeter take the A396 Exe Valley Road north which runs between Exeter and Tiverton. Pass through Stoke Canon and Rewe and take the first turning signposted Silverton and proceed into the village centre. At the crossroads turn left into Fore Street and No.34 can be found on the right after approximately 150 yards. DIRECTIONAL NOTE II From M5 take junction 28 exit, proceeding through the centre of Cullompton following signs for Bradninch and Silverton.
