SITUATION
With farmland on three sides Shorston is only 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Holsworthy.  Holsworthy has a thriving livestock market and traditional town centre with variety of shops.  In addition there is a Waitrose Supermarket and range of social, commercial and sporting facilities.

Holsworthy is 14 miles from the A30 dual carriageway spineroad for Cornwall and Devon at Launceston for westward travel into Cornwall and 20 miles from Okehampton and the A30 dual carriageway for eastward travel.  The City of Exeter (some 40 miles) provides intercity rail link, M5 motorway link and international airport.

To the north of Holsworthy are stunning stretches of North Cornish and North Devon coastline famed for popular family surfing beaches and quaint former fishing villages.
