SITUATION 5 Barton Cottages is situated in the heart of this picturesque village, just a short walk from the village post office/store and parish church. The nearest public house can be found approx ? a mile away at Wonson. The dramatic scenery of Dartmoor is within a 10 to 15 minute walk, whilst there are many footpaths leading into countryside and woodlands that surround the church. The Popular Dartmoor town of Chagford is some 3 miles away, offering a good variety of day to day and specialist shops, primary school, public houses and hotels. Chagford also has numerous sporting facilities including a cricket and football pitch, tennis club, bowls club and an open air swimming pool in the summer time. The nearby town of Okehampton offers a wide range of shops, services, educational and recreational facilities, whilst there is easy access to the A30 dual carriageway proving a direct link to the Cathedral City of Exeter, with its motorway, rail and air links.
