The village lies in a quiet location just off the Crediton / Torrington road with the A30 trunk road at Whiddon Down reached via the newly developed North Tawton road which gives access to Exeter and the M5.

DIRECTIONS: If approaching Winkleigh from Crediton, take the first left hand turning as signed to Whiddon Down and North Tawton. Follow this road for about 25 yards and take the first right into Elms Meadow. Proceed up the hill to the top and the property will be found on your left hand side.
