DESCRIPTION Located just off of the village square in the popular village of Winkleigh with its range of amenities including the shop, post office, two pubs, church and butchers, Garden Square Cottage is ideally situated in the heart of the community yet being tucked away and private once found! It is hidden from view behind an established Laurel hedge giving a great deal of privacy. The property has a burglar alarm system.

The cottage itself is spacious having been extended in the past to the ground floor. There are 4 bedrooms, living room with inglenook and plenty of character with exposed timbers and nooks throughout. The kitchen/dining room is of a farmhouse style and offers a lovely family kitchen overlooking the enclosed rear garden. The current owners have two further studios (one with 3-phase power for kiln) which have a multitude of uses and could be opened up to create a large family room overlooking the gardens. WINKLEIGH, is a large Mid-Devon village with many period cottages. In September 2011, the village topped a national report as the best place in England and Wales to bring up children. The village lies in a quiet location just off the Crediton / Torrington road with the A30 trunk road at Whiddon Down reached via the newly developed North Tawton road which gives access to Exeter and the M5.
