" A wonderfully presented, recently renovated, attached Grade II Listed cottage with large gardens. Sitting room, kitchen/dining room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom. No onward chain.

SITUATION The property is situated on the fringes of the popular Mid Devon village of Coleford. Coleford is a traditional Devon village with a highly regard pub, The New Inn. The bustling market town of Crediton (4 miles) has a good range of shopping and services including a leisure centre, schooling, doctors' surgeries, banks and a railway station on the Tarka Line (Exeter to Barnstaple).
 
The university and cathedral city of Exeter (12 miles) has a comprehensive range of amenities and facilities befitting a centre of its importance including excellent dining, shopping, theatre and recreational pursuits. Exeter has mainline railway services to Paddington and Waterloo plus an international airport with daily flights to London. DESCRIPTION No. 2 Norton Cottages is an attached Grade II Listed character property which the Listed Buildings notes suggest dates from the late 19th Century with later extension. The current owners have undertaken a comprehensive schedule of improvement including new kitchen, new bathroom, with half the thatch being completed in 2017. The property enjoys much character including original inglenook fireplace and much exposed ceiling beams and window seats. The property is of rendered cob and stone elevations beneath a thatched roof. ACCOMMODATION A wooden stable door leads into the kitchen / dining room. Heating via Thermotec German engineered electric radiators. DIRECTIONS From Exeter proceed on the A377 to Crediton, passing through the town. Just over a mile past Crediton, turn left at Barnstaple Cross signposted Coleford and Colebrooke. Continue along this road and into the village passing the pub on the right. At the next junction turn right signposted Copplestone. Proceed out of the village and No. 2 Norton Cottages can be found on the left just as you leave the village.
