" This delightful end terrace Grade II listed thatched cottage is full of old world charm and character with a wealth of period features including beams, alcoves and a lovely exposed inglenook fireplace still with the bread oven intact and a newly installed wood-burning stove.

The property has been recently updated in a sympathetic fashion to give some modern day conveniences such as a modern β€œAshgrove” fitted kitchen with Neff appliances, oil fired central heating and newly fitted carpets through much of the property. The thatch was replaced in 2010 . There is much exposed timber work and natural wood flooring, again in keeping with the style of the property. On the ground floor is a 3rd bedroom or study which opens out to the rear of the property via double doors. Outside it is well set back from the village road by an enclosed and private lawned garden with a variety of well-established plants.

To the side is a driveway leading to off-road parking and a recently erected timber framed double garage with a slate roof providing excellent storage space. There are further outbuildings and the rear garden is large and pleasantly secluded with fantastic views across the adjoining farmland and on to the rolling Devon hills. The garden contains many well established trees (including productive apple trees) and is mainly laid to lawn with a raised sun-deck which takes advantage of the stunning views. The garden offers a new owner the freedom to create whatever they require. "
